Latest September PNP draw

In the latest September PNP draw of this week, three provinces in Canada including British Columbia, Quebec, and Manitoba invite a total of 2204 candidates.

PNP draw results from September 9 – September 15

Quebec held its latest PNP draw on September 5 and issued invitations to 1,433 candidates to apply for permanent selection. The minimum score required for eligibility is 586.

On September 7, Manitoba held its latest PNP draw and invited a total of 558 candidates to apply under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

Manitoba hosted four draws under three streams, which were:

Manitoba Skilled Worker Immigration Stream

Two draws were held under the Manitoba Skilled Worker Immigration Stream.

The first was an occupation-specific draw and targeted 230 candidates that had occupations falling under 19 National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 major groups. The minimum score required for eligibility is 595.

The second was a general draw held for skilled workers, which invited 236 candidates with a minimum score of 640. Since it was a general draw no occupations were specifically mentioned.

Manitoba International Education Stream

Under the Manitoba International Education Stream, a total of 52 candidates were invited.

Skilled Worker Overseas

Under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, 40 candidates were invited with a minimum score of 724.

British Columbia

On September 12, British Columbia held its PNP draw and invited a total of 183 candidates from the Skilled Workers and International Graduate streams which also included Express Entry candidates.

Three draws were held by the province which targeted specific occupations. The biggest draw invited 133 candidates in tech occupations with a minimum score of 88. The other two draws were for 36 early childcare educators and assistants and 14 healthcare professionals with a minimum score of 60.

Provincial Nominee Program

The Provincial Nominee Program or PNP is a great way to receive a Canadian permanent residency. Each PNP has one stream that is aligned with the Express Entry System, known as ‘Enhanced Nominations’. The advantage of enhanced PNP is that they award an extra CRS score of 600 points, which will guarantee PR to the applicant through express entry. Also, there is another stream under the PNP, known as ‘the base stream’. Here, you can apply to a PNP stream directly and once you obtain a provincial nomination, the federal government will process your permanent residence application.
