Eligibility criteria

  2. You must have lived in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, or Prince Edward Island for at least 16 months over the previous two years to obtain your certificate.
  3. Had valid temporary residence status in Canada.
  4. Obtained necessary visas or permits to work, study, or train in Canada.

Language specifications

  1. You must have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) level of 5 in order to be considered for NOC TEER category 0 or
  2. For employment offers in NOC TEER categories 2, 3, or 4, you must have a CLB or NCLC level of 4.

The results of your IRCC test, which you must submit, must come from an approved language testing provider. When you apply, the test results ought to be no older than two years.

Funds needed to settle in Canada
