First Express Entry Draw of June 2025 Held Under Canada’s New Immigration Minister
IRCC has hosted a new draw under the leadership of the newly appointed Immigration Minister of Canada, Lena Diab. The immigration cabinet is going through a shift in their plans, focusing on the Express Entry Draw. IRCC is inviting an improved number of candidates compared to its previous month and went through four distinct draws to attain that.
The new draw hoisted a total of 277 ITAs and published a cut-off CRS score of 726. With an increase in the limited CRS score from the previous draw, in May 12, the IRCC is also considering all the candidates who created an Express Entry Profile before 3:46 pm on 24 September 2024.

How Does the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) in Canada Work?
The comprehensive Ranking system or the CRS score is the basic ranking order that determines the eligibility of the candidates. This is the means to classify each skilled immigrant worker and natives to make sure they can do well in the Canadian working environment. IRCC is the responsible body for managing a detailed framework and orientation for the entire system.
CRS is much needed because of its accurate way in maintaining a steady standard in contributing a skilled workforce in Canada. The initiation of the CRS was in 2015 and it was based on efforts and research of study in working conditions for multiple years. Through this, they have successfully integrated a generation of freshers and middle-age workers to show great impact, improving the overall Canadian working condition.
Following its application for many years, the government has proved it as an essential criterion for the Express Entry Draw. IRCC has also mentioned its practical aspects in the Canadian job market, such as a suitable working environment, better salary rates, and a decrease in unemployment, making it the ideal ranking system out there.
